Scam, is it possible for a lump of scar tissue to disappear overnight?
Remember that bug bite lump? The first doctor removed a freckle thing insead of the lump, so I went to another doctor and now I have an appointment to see a lady on Wednesday and....the lump is GONE!
It was pretty big, right on my rib under my breast on the bra line and it was there last night.
I'm scared that it is on the loose inside me somewhere, and I'm scared the doctor is going to think I'm insane cuz there is no lump!
I really dont think theres anything on the loose inside you. The lump is either there or not. Its possible that it has disolved but shouldnt have dissapeared over night. Is it possibe that it is swelled around the lump? If there is any other irritation around it you might not be able to feel the lump specifically.
Go see the Dr. Maybe they'll be able to feel it in a different position or tell you why its not there anymore.

I wouldnt worry about it being lost somewhere inside you though.

I called the Dr and cancelled the apt, it takes like an hour to get there and she's a busy lady. The nurse said that it might not have been scar tissue it might have been a sac of fluid under the skin and maybe it burst. I dunno, but it was painful on Satruday, very painful.
She said to call if it came back. So hopefully, it's all over and done with now.
That is, if it's not making it's way toward my heart. :/ I have my yearly coming up so she can check it then. It's just weird that for 4 months it just sat there and then BAM, it's gone. I hate my body, it thinks things like this are funny.

LOL, when I told the nurse it was gone she laughed and said it knew I made the appointment. ;)
I feel stupid for cancelling now, she did tell me to still come in if I wanted, so I'll feel even more stupid if I make a new appointment after cancelling. Stupid bugs!
But I still got an ugly scar for no reason! Whoohoo Canada!

The quickest way to make yourself feel better is to make a Drs appointment!
Every time my kids are sick and I think they need to be seen they always recover on the way to the office.
Then I feel like they all think I'm nuts!
